Monarch Insurance Services (MIS) was established in 1981 as a locally owned independent insurance general agency specializing in commercial property and casualty insurance. MIS is one of the largest insurance agencies in the State of Hawaii and has extensive market access and maintains appointments with virtually every local insurance carrier, as well as markets in both the continental U.S. and internationally. With the acquisition of the Bishop Insurance Agency in 2008, MIS is technically now the oldest agency in Hawaii insuring businesses throughout the State since 1859.
